Great video Eric thank you for being so open about techniques. Here in CT they just stocked 5-10 lb Seeforallen Browns into some of the smaller deeper lakes (60'). Any tips on how to catch these fish?

That first fish was 20 lbs my guess. I was fishing from shore in Port Washington harbor 15 years ago and caught a huge Brown on a chartreuse #9 countdown Rapala. The guy who netted it and I both agreed that it was 35lbs! He couldn't believe that I kissed it and threw it back lol. He said he and his brother fish 5 states and Canada for years and they had never seen one close to that big. Great video guy's. Tight lines 😊

That first fish was probably 16 to 18 I've caught a lot of fish that size and it always surprises you when you put them on the scale and they're less than you think but a really nice looking brown nonetheless.

I like those reels but they do not sell spare parts or even extra spools. If they go under like US Reels how would you fix them? I have 2 sets of spare bail springs for every old Penn SS I own and I never go fishing without an extra spool and fresh line.

Very little wild reproduction with steelhead?? Maybe in your state, but walk up in some small tribs in Michigan and tell me there isn’t wild steelhead. Tons of fry and smolts.
