True story. This mod especially shines with some solid trainer on unlimited tactical points. To not be a complete imbalanced asshole put a maximum amount of hard AIs to drown your positions in tanks anyway. See AI dropping an ICBM on you 'cause you are not the only one who can use TP. See those tanks plowing through your insane firepower and taking the point anyway now that your reinforced bunkers got melted by the nuke. Retaliate in kind, scorch, blast and pulverize the map with nukes of your own. Literally 0 standing units on the map. Send in the next wave! Half an hour into the match. Its like an orcestra of destruction, played on pipes of artillery barrels, drums of bombs and mighty aria of nuclear annihilation. Map now lunar landscape. Literally 0 standing structures or parts of landscape unscathed. Narrator screaming: "ObjectiveName lost to the enemy, we must counterattack!". You look and the map. Everything is so mangled and burned its hard to tell where was what. More like: "ObjectiveWhatWasItsName?". Red circles still there though, you launch umpteenth nuke. Some time later. Win screen. A black wasteland in the background. Hills and rivers are the only thing that is still possible to identify. Everything else melted and vaporized. Piles of rubble and sticking metal beams marks residential areas. Ground so blasted roads are no longer recognizable. Small landscape deviations replaced with craters, dug and re-dug hundred times over. The only biosphere left is in surviving main battle tanks. Was there a town? I guess so, but it is really hard to tell. For a moment you look at the map in the beginning of the next round. Motionless scorched earth, a picture painted in force and fire. Breathtaking. Satisfying. No other game and/or mod ever gave me this feeling. It is something unique and absolutely awesome.
