FRANCHISE POTENTIAL PROSPECT!!! - Testing The Draft - NHL 19 - Ep. 2

Hey boy!! I love your videos, it gave me a lot of help in nhl18 and i get your struggles. If i can help you this time ill be happy. My tip to you is: sort playerd after the first quarter of the season, then scout those specific elite players only. Do it again mid season and in the last quarter of the season. When players’ potential stays elite/franchise scout their attribute/comparison etc. It worked for me and i drafted 13 elite players in the same draft. A lot of them are going to be busts so what i do is trade the elite lows to get picks and i repeat the method. 4 years in and i got 3 elite med defensemen and 4 elite med forwards and one elite med goalie. I also have a lot of top6F and elite lowd but again i trade them away

The draft is sick in year 4 I had 4 med elites in the 4th round and the top 11 picks were 70+ overall

I aquired a 1st overall pick in order to get a franchise player by giving up my best prospect (Highest Trade Value on the Team) Whom was a defensive prospect so I wasnt as atattched as I would have been had he been a forward, as well as two first rounders. Seemed kinda heavy to me at the time. But man, So worth it. Far and away the calder favourite, well over a point a game on the top line. Worth it man. Worth it.

In my draft Krebbs was ranked at 10 so I easily traded for the pick and got him and he is a beast

rpw _11 he usually only gets up to like a top 6f potential. His ceiling is usually 86 or 87

MattWic I did! he got 2 goals and 65 assists on the first line with gaudreau and a generated 90 ovr sniper in his rookie year. Went from 82 to 88

Depend on his attributes. Any player can get. Better potential ss he develop. Kotkaniemi became an elite high ( was elite med ) on his first year

Matt. I am loving the series man. Keep up the great work! Do you have any tips or tricks to make your franchise mode feel more realistic? like rules of engagement so we don't game the system?

I never trade a draft pick that's not the current draft or the very next one. Teams fleece each other all the time in real life so I don't like calling any trade unrealistic. I won't trade for a team top players if they're like a playoff lock though cause that wouldn't happen. If I need a stud at the trade deadline I look to see where they are in the standings first. But really that's it. What do you do??
