Just filming it took a month, the editing and stuff was pretty quick and took maybe a day or two. The most time consuming part was driving everywhere, finding safe places for takeoff/recovery, then positioning into good angles without interfering with traffic and stuff. Over the span of about a month I flew 12.3 hours, but I probably spent just as much time (or more) driving and walking around.

@@VeloAce I can imagine getting Aloft clearance for all the flights was probably sketchy. I sold my Drone a while back because I was tired of all the red tape. Great shots, great video. Hyped you're in my area. Try some dynamic zoom on those shots where you're flying straight ahead, in my experience that effect turns out pretty awesome and planet-earthy.

Oh yeah, I think I ended up having to do like 25 LAANC requests or so over the course of this. The real complicated part was flying the stuff in the College Hill area, I had to file for an Airspace Authorization with the FAA and then physically call McConnel's ATC Tower 24 hours before, 30 minutes before, and after I finished flying. So, I just flew everything in that area in 6-hour block the day before yesterday so that I only had to do that process once. Thanks for the advice on the zoom, I think I'm going to try that out when it warms up a bit! Only downside of the Mini 3 Pro is that it has a digital zoom instead of an optical zoom, so I have some quality loss when zooming, but I bet it will still look great.

@@VeloAce dynamic zoom is in post production. Personally I wouldn't digitally zoom with the Drone at all. My air 2 wasn't a great zoomer, and really wasn't even able to get footage at night. Your mini 3 night footage is incredible comparatively

@@TaylorShawn Gotcha, I'm going to take a look at that. This is my first video using Premiere Pro and at that, I just took a 2-hour crash course on it. I think I'm going to go down a editing/post-production rabbit hole over the Christmas break lol.

Very nice shots, I was almost starting to panic when I saw the flag pole on top of the building. One of the bad things about flying at night as I already found out.
