Yes! I'm a performer myself, not really a techie, but I love all of the design and technical aspects as well. Good lighting makes a show in my opinion! It sets the mood and makes you feel a certain emotion whether consciously or sub-conciously. Lighting designers are never given enough credit :/

I was lucky enough to go backstage when I saw it this saturday due to a special connection and it was so cool! I got backstage about ten minutes after it ended and there wasn't a soul there other than the actor (The Wizard of Oz) that was showing us around. Very very neat. I would love to see it again sometime

I've seen a variety of Wicked casts... but this is the only Elphaba that I don't like that much... I mean, I think it's nice that she wants to put her own stamp on it but it doesn't sound or feel like "Wicked" to me (especially 3:48-3:54... wtf?)... it's someone who's singing Wicked karaoke their own way instead of the way we're accustomed to hearing it. The music, as-written, is famous for a reason.

Ronin Editor I Agree in the fact that I really didn't like the whole cast! Like Kendra and Stephanie and Derek all are great, their voices just don't work here, especially Kendra Kassenbaum

Right? My boyfriend (a techie, specializing in light design) and I (the actress) always tease each other on who is more important for a show (of course, we both are) but... He definitely won this time around. I was completely blown away by the lighting for this show. It was absolutely brilliant. Er.. sorry. Wicked. xD
