I may have watched every Wicked interview I saw in my algorithm, and all of the people who went in this film have is one thing: their love of storytelling. They all love the material and they all knew the importance of showing this to the world in the best way possible.

The combination of creative imagination, practical organizational genius, and psychological comprehension is stunning. John Chu is extraordinary. I don’t think anyone else could have made Wicked.

I have fell in love with him as a director. He did an amazing job. He didn't just throw this on the screen. He was really invested in lore, the musical, and even the actors. Every interview I have seen talk about how empowering the experience was for them. The ballroom scene was so uncomfortably perfect. That's when it took a lot to hold back tears. 💚

i cannot believe the timing of the release of Wicked. After the past few years followed by the stunning Nov 5 results,I went to see Wicked this past Monday Nov.25 realizing my soul needed the balm that was the musical made for stage and now was made on film. The movie was delightfully produced with beauty, stunning costumes, amazing sets including the 9 million tulips, choreography that was superb, acted by a stellar cast. The relationship between Galinda and Elpheba was a reminder that we can see the humanity in people that are different but through empathy, tenderness, humour and love, relationships can be nurtured in spite of differences.Arianna Grande and Cynthia ‘s relationship. was the most authentic performances I have ever seen.At times ,we were actually witnessing Arianna and Cynthia as opposed to Galenda and Elpheba.I cried happy tears, sad tears and at the ending I wept.I was elated about the entire experience.Of course ,there were tears of loss as well.I pkan to see your wonderful movie many times.Best medicine in the world.

The incredible amount of thought, attention to detail and intricate nuances of character, history, soul and self-realization that went into making this exceptional film relaying the journey of a soul's discovery that she had everything she ever needed all along and the power needed to release it was simply to be her authentic self thru and thru apologizing to no one, proving herself to no one, just being who she was meant to be from the beginning..

The way he explains how Elphaba grows during the first movie is SOOOO touching and beautiful. And you can tell he's a great storyteller. It really touched me.

He's an enthusiastic fan of his own movie. No wonder it works so well. You can tell how invested he is in this. Edit: Wait seriously? This video's been up for a day and there are only four comments? WTF

Every detail and reason for doing something specifically, I can tell you paid off! I NEEDED this movie! It was full circle for me from a little girl watching Wizard of Oz once a year if I was lucky in the 70’s to being an adult now seeing myself reflected back in this movie. The child wanting to fit in but the adult telling the inner child I belong and have power now in who I am. The grandness and the touch-ability in the tulips to the tears is exquisite. I needed this movie now more than ever. Brilliantly done! Thank you!

@jackayers4955 ok great thank you for info Jack. The ballroom scene is where they both dance together for the first time. I wonder why Karima wrote "Oz Dust scene" because I don't remember dust. Thanks again 🙏👍✨

@@Lee-vb4vhThere's no actual dust, that's just what the name is of the club that they go to. The characters refer to it as "the ozdust ballroom", and sometimes just shortened to "the ozdust". It's also mentioned a couple times in the song too e.g. "Right on down to the 0zdust Ballroom! Come on, follow me!" 🎶

The fall that he is talking about is very powerful and I think it's started when they took glinda. Cause she shared that she blames herself what happen to nessarose and it is happening again to glinda so when she said she has nothing to do with it I am the one you want it triggers her doubt that's why the fall was powerful
