Wicked Games - Chris Isaak live at Hardly Strictly Bluegrass 2013

Just some notes about this video. This is a open air concert in Golden Gate Park. Hardly Strictly Bluegrass is free to all attendees and has been since its inception. The video is a bit shaky because I shot it with a Canon 70D on a monopod with the camera above my head. I moved occasionally shifting my weight for comfort. I had to compose the video looking up at the view screen and it was not too comfortable.
The sound was from the built-in mic which tends to pickup surrounding audio. I now have a Rode VideoMic which should eliminate a lot of that. Also, for the Oct 2014 concert, I'll have the camera on a tripod so it should be better. For more info on the festival, www.hardlystric...

I've been debating whether to plunk down the Benjamin to see him live next week, wondered if his voice is still up to its past greatness. I think this performances proves Isaak and his band are still full on. There are few performers who need no extras, no gimmicks to help them sound better than they really are. Great job at composing the frame....and great picture quality. It didn't move around that much... Sound was decent, but then again, i listened to it on my desktop iMac... at any rate, thumbs up from me...i like the way you tried to include the entire band at least some of the time... i just busted somebody's chops for a Billy Strings/Hoxeyville vid he uploaded...he focused mainly on BMFS and Billy Failing 95% of the time, and ignored the rest of the band, even tho the other player was leading some of the verses... I'm picky about $h*T like that!!
