I finally got to see Wicked. I now can see the pink and green relation. Such a fun movie and love what you made for it.

Jamaison, those are just darling! I am glad you explained the flipping part because I did get a little lost on that. As always, thank you for sharing. I really like that mold too!

Que bella la primera pieza que muestras que has tenido desde siempre, ya sola sin tener que agregarle nada quedó bellísima en la forma que quedó, cómo una pequeña fuente. Me encantó.

I usually fuse my pieces with the tekta on top. Saves a fuse and the weight of the tekta gives very clean line to the piece.

Yes, I do to. But in the case of the extreme texture of the confetti glass, I was concerned about bubbles or the glass shifting during firing, preventing tight seams between the four squares.
@JamaisonSchulerАй бұрын
By firing with clear on the bottom, I could arrange the top pieces with frit up, allowing it to melt down into the glass. And I could get all four squares lined up just as I wanted them. It may have been fine the other way around, but there was less guessing and potential heartbreak doing it this way.

If by chance you do get some divirtication, is there a way to fix it?
@JamaisonSchulerАй бұрын
There are a variety of ways: sandblast and then fire polish; use etching cream to etch it off then fire polish, but I rely more on clear powder. See this quick tip from bullseye: www.bullseyeglass.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/02/quick_tip_fix_surface_flaws.pdf?srsltid=AfmBOopl5qr4qQMSzBcLPMr1ioMcLZVGN_qIGeYuCzQW4zBGMZpcGqFn

Hello Jamaison, when you use clear Frit for this project, what exactly are you using? "Clear Transparent", or "Crystal Clear"? And is it Fine? Thank you!
@JamaisonSchulerАй бұрын
It’s clear transparent powder. NOT CRYSTAL CLEAR. Here’s why… Fixing devit with powder -- lessons learned kzbin.info/www/bejne/bXS8aax8jJaXmsU

@@JamaisonSchuler PERFECT!!! It should be called "Not SO Crystal Clear"!! Thank you so much, we all benefit from others' lessons, appreciate the sharing!
