The second part of this story should stay true to the musical. It was a powerful second half and people deserve to see this. I saw this on broadway and left the first part with raw emotions that prepared me for that raw second half. Don't soften it. Don't sugarcoat it. Let the audience feel this powerful ending.

the broadway show already is sugar coated. the movie will obviously pay respect to the show, but they need more elements of the book included. it’s much darker.

If Fiero can’t be riding to the emerald city because he’s the tin man then he can’t be marrying Glinda for the same reason when the wicked witch is melted by Dorothy. 🙃

to the people that say Nessarose fixed walking spell was not given to her by her sister in the original book. Glinda does a repair and binding spell on them to help her stand up straight and not teeter so much when she walked due to in the book she had no arms. When she and Elphaba get into their argument over the shoes in the book, Glinda throws the fact that she had to become Nessarose friend and helper and she felt she had more right's to give the shoe's to Dorothy and not Elphaba. The fact that people are attacking the show for abilising is ridiculous, and what's wrong with having what is going on in the real world in a fantasy story. Just leave the movie characters and show alone. My big pet peeve is that they turn the Scarecrow, and Tin Woodman into Boq and Fiyaro, which doesn't happen in the original book.

boq becoming the tin woodsman and feyrio becoming the scarecrow is so much better. how about they dont compleltly go off the book and they are doing what they set out to do was make a musical movie so stfu the musical is much better than the book anyways. the first movie was phenomenal. and also its elphaba that fixes her legs in the musical and this is a musical made into a movie not a book made into a movie shut your fucking mouth

I think instead of fixing her it the shoes will show her how to love herself then she will ride off it in the black cape in the first scene where the tin man scracrow and lion will be made normalagain plus glinda or eplhie will marry that guy wedding scene and the other girl will marry the lion who is made a human by glinda plus dorthy plays a big role in glinda 's journey in wicked 2
