We saw Wicked during the summer of 2015 and it was amazing! However, the Oz head scared me for a good 5 seconds and looked super creepy and was super loud. I lost my hearing and we were in the last row of the first area of seats in the front and I couldn't hear for the rest of the night, but, that's show biz. Gotta entertain your guests with freaky and loud stuff. I would FLY to see Wicked again in a HEARTBEAT! (No pun intended on the Tinman and Elpheba.)

This is always something that has really confused me- The wizard head is so formidably loud and overwhelming its frightening and the voice is super creepy, but at the same time it totally fascinates me and I just remember thinking "this thing is so cool." Is there a word for that?? Maybe its a combination of how intimidating it is, but also the fact that I'm sitting comfortably in a theatre seat.
