how high on the tree do you hang your cams and how close to the scrape do you put the cam? Great footage!!

Appreciate the kind words. Most cams I hang approx. 3.5 feet high. Depending on the cam, most are positioned approx. 15 feet from the scrape (many cams I use are wider angle, which allows me to place them closer than I normally would.) Thanks for watching...

Yes they are. One I have been following since 2019. The big buck showed up last year. This area is off-limits to hunting but is one of my shed hunting spots. I'm getting the itch already! Thanks for watching.

Public land but protected, so off limits to hunting. It is one of shed hunting spots though :)

We are fortunate to have very healthy deer in these parts. Ample food definitely helps.

What kind of scent did you use

No scent. This was a fresh and natural scrape I set the cam up on. Some of my other cams are set up on mock scrapes, but even those the only scent I might use at the beginning is my own urine. Have tried commercial scents years ago and didn't see much of a difference. They are also not cheap. Checking all of the cams this morning. We had snow yesterday. I'm expecting some cool video captures!
