@@FanaticMitchell1 I thought it was easily the worst in the franchise and was just kind of a bad movie in general. :S It wasn't funny, the plot was all over the place, the characters that had been flushed out over the course of the previous two films felt flat and were acting for the sake of the plot moving forward rather than how they would actually respond to the situations they were put in, and the conclusion where Arthur gave a lackluster speech that suddenly turned all of the bad guys (who were more than on board with murdering someone) good felt like it was only thrown in because the writers didn't know how to end the film.

Rumpelstilskin is honestly the most evil for me. He is everything Farquad and Fairly Godmother are and even more. Fairly Godmother while power hungry , once she made a deal, she did everything in her power to make her side happen. Bringing countless fairy tale characters their happily ever after , the main issue was paying her back. Plus, if anything, she did actually care about her son. Farquad while a self-centered cruel piece of work, wasn't sadistic and ,like Godmother, kept his promises. Rumpelstilskin on the other hand? He manipulates and uses wordplay to trick his victims. He creates word traps in his contracts to screw over anyone desperate enough to make a deal with him, often resulting in their death. He enslaves entire races and magicsl creatures and tries to commits genocide on ogres , he watched with sadistic glee as Shrek's life crumbled around him And once his power is taken , he reveals himself as the pathetic mess he is. He is as cruel as Farquad, as manipulative and power hungry as fairy-godmother and more evil and sadistic than both

I feel like you didn’t really give the later 2 movies a chance, there’s far more to rumplestilskin (unsure if that’s how it’s spelled) than what you said, why he’s that way, how he killed his own henchmen over a bad idea, and how his desire is to be able to scam just about everyone in far far away with the contracts. Also, while I know you wish that the series ended at 2, so you didn’t look too hard at 3 and 4, but why not include Merlin in here? I'd personally swap Shrek with Fiona. I say this cause there was montage of him in the 4th film where he's seen visiting a town to scare its citizens just for the fun of it (including ones where he's eating from a couple's picnic basket & baiting little kids into watching a puppet show). This shows that even though he was mainly reclusive from being prejudiced by society, he still genuinely gets a kick out of scaring and that's a bit naughty. Sure Fiona might've been spoiled in the first film, but in the sequels I feel like she's generally matured a little faster than he has.

I think Amy Rose, Princess Elise III and Sally Acorn (outside of the otherwise great Sonic SatAM) will be closer to the evil list than the good list because of their overpraised mad crush on a teenage male (which is Sonic himself, whom outside of the Archie Comics, will be much closer to the good half of the list) that made them care a lot less about developing strengths to be able to compete with other Sonic characters that will be closer to the “Good” half for being much more likeable like the members of Team Sonic, the Chaotix and Blaze the Cat. Surely, one of them has matured greatly just before Sonic Boom so of course she’s not going to anymore be at the top of the “Evil” list, which surely, Mephiles will top (for ruining Sonic ‘06 for a reason I never remembered to point out until now: HE MURDERED SONIC! And how does he come back to life?! A ROMANTIC KISS FROM ELISE INVOLVING BESTIALITY!!!!!!) since as seldom as it is, Eggman can be sympathetic towards the good guys. Like in the end of Sonic Adventure 2. Which is okay; not as much of a holy grail as it used to be made to look, but not one of the worst Sonic games up to the ranks of Sonic Labyrinth, the SEGA Pico games, Sonic Shuffle (one of the biggest problem with it isn’t often pointed out, but it’s when Amy Rose complained about how her dress looked, which is why other characters deserve much better than her), and Sonic Free Riders.

Shrek 4 was the best movie in my opinion with how they used adult themes in a kid's format in a beautiful way. How they captured what the Shrek franchise was supposed to be.
