Lego Star Wars will always be a huge part of my childhood in both the games and the sets. Running around the movies and the tv show fighting iconic villains from throughout the series was always a fun and heartwarming experience.

I am a huge fan of the Ninjago TV series and I have seen the Ninjago movie more than once now I wouldn’t say that I hate the movie because it’s nothing like the show, I don’t hate the movie at all honestly, my only problem with the movie is that the TV show designs got changed to the movie designs with the first season after the release of the movie, now I understand why they did that because they wanted to bring fans of the movie into the show but I’m just not a fan of the redesign that the show went through because of the movie

I like that you added in Skylanders when talking about toys to life, it’s much better than Lego Dimensions. I loved playing Lego Star Wars with an old friend of mine when we were children, I always loved that chapters where you’d drive around in any kind of spaceship. I guess Lego Dreamzzz is the true meaning behind The Lego Movie. I remember old tv shows like Ninjago and Chima, there was also a Lego building board game, along with Lego Heroica.

Some of my favourite LEGO media (Lego Movies 1&2; and Unikitty): *Standing proudly on this list* Meanwhile, LEGO Hero Factory and Mixels: *Crying together in the corner.* For your information, Hero Factory had a bunch of movies; and Mixels also had a bunch of short episodes and movies, so I don't get why those aren't covered here (especially since they're two of my five favourite themes). I'd say put both in A or S, since they were both brilliantly done. I'd recommend checking them out to get more context. ^w^

As a fan of the Ninjago TV series, I hated the movie for its enormous deviations from the source material. After the initial wave of anger subsided, I realized the movie had a number of legitimate problems, namely with pacing, conflict, and character development: The film has an abundance of jokes, but more often than not, they each get drawn-out into a minute-long monologue, grinding the story to a halt in what should've been a fast-paced action movie. This bad pacing makes the rest of the movie suffer due to there not being a lot of room left for substance, whereas the show focused on story first and comedy second. There's like to central villain in this movie. I mean, Lord Garmadon is supposed to be the main antagonist, but he essentially becomes the dueteragonist for the movie's entire second act, with the heroes' quest focusing on stopping Meowthra the live-action cat rather than liberating Ninjago City from Garmadon's army. It's just so unclear as to what the primary threat is. The series never had this issue, with each season's main antagonist always being clearly presented as the primary threat to be overcome. As said earlier, the film's poor pacing left hardly any room for substance, including character development. This film had an enormous cast, but most of the ninja get zero distinct personality. Lloyd, Garmadon, and Koko (based on Misako) are the only ones who grow our get any real focus (outside of Wu). Now, Sing 2 proves that it's entirely possible to make a funny movie with a large cast where no one comes off as useless by simply giving everyone something to do in the story. The ninja act like a unit at all times and don't really do anything individually, making them come off as flat and uninteresting. The TV series avoided this with things like Zane learning he's an android; Kai being an older brother figure to Lloyd; Nya becoming a mechanic in her free time and becoming a samurai, then being insecure about being labeled as nothing more than the girl in the group; her love triangle with Cole and Jay, etc. In essence, it gave the characters their own issues and personalities.
