Seems like a superior alternative to the powkiddy RGB20SX which has the same square aspect ratio; and it is about $20 cheaper to boot.

I guess it's the perfect shoot-em up hand held. They really shouldn't stray so far with the button design. Stickers are fine because they are optional.

Budget gaming for me meant buying an s20 (the last galaxy phone to allow a damn sd card slot) for 170 off backmarket and loading it up with ps2, wii games. This thing runs most of the crap i got a pc for!!!!

I see they still don't have a reason for that one button. For the life of mecannot figure out what is used for. I found that the joy-cons work a lot better with fighting games on these then the d-pad does. Like you I prefer to use a d-pad it's a lot easier to pull off moves with the joy Con on these.

​@@WickedGamerCollector R36S (and R35S) was super successful so others are now trying to jump on the train. R36Max, R36S+ etc are all impostors. Only R35S, R36S, R33S and the recent R40S were made by the same people. There is also some R36S copies that have weaker hardware and run only EmuElec instead of ArkOS. A dead giveaway is 1 RAM chip instead of 2. But Factory DIrect Store and BOYHOM sells only the originals

R35S, R36S, R33S and R40S comes from the same factory, the rest are impostors. there's also a R36S clone now that looks exactly the same but it comes with emuelec and doesn't support arkos, but if you buy from factory direct store or boyhom you will get the original
