Xu4 can also run batocera even the pc build of it i have gotten killer instinct windows system with arcade roms to play on it properly so you need to do more yourself

I remember this being glitchy as hell. At release the specs of this blew away the competition re: value, but even with TheRetroArena CFW there were so many times I had my board bug out with linux style text.

I used RaspberryPi's and OrangePi's for my builds...by the time these Odroid came out I had already put together about 4 emulation devices...and so I was familiar with those Pi's...I believe this was higher specs...certainly has a better cooling than those stick on tiny heatsinks

I've got one of these with a 1tb hard drive stuck with double sided tape onto the top of the inside part of the shell. It's generally pretty decent up to some dreamcast, Naomi, Atomiswave, but N64 is pretty terrible. Still, I kinda love the little screen even though the novelty wears thin.

Dude, that little thing is so Cool. Just imagine being able to upgrade this console but also have that little display work as an emergency screen for smaller titles. 😅👍

Thank you so much for letting us know that the PC Engine CD, was not there. I am a huge fan of the PC Engine/Turbografx 16, and all the add ons, and have had no luck getting one of these that has it all

it’s so crazy that they’ve been making these things for so long now, and very few take the chance of releasing a decent rig that’s powerful enough to turn heads… they all make underpowered crap buckets that end up broken in the trash! Oh but it’s all our fault that there’s landfills, and pollution, because carbon footprint yada, yada, nonsense, horse shit, dick breath, etc! I’ve grown so weary of this shithole world, and the babbling brook of never ending bullshit!

Xu4 or that box can be found in the wild. Ebay ... Some items on ali-express or website. In the end if you going to look into new price don't bother. There are way better optiones out there for that amount of money. Found this myself with a convention randomly that made it interesting.

I wonder when someone will make a budget fake DS or similiar. I.e foldable dual screen device. (The Ayaneo flip DS does not count. Way to expensive.). I also wonder if the Switch 2 will be start of the next actually improved generation of fake handheld consoles since the Switch was heavily copied on sites like aliexrpress. It would make them at least make new fake copies. Switch 2 seems to look like the switch though, so maybe not, they'll just add a visible "2" to the fake....

Been watching you for a while, and I noticed how many different devices you have tested. I have a question. Im looking to eumulate 6th gen, maybe 7th. I would like to be able to upscale the old systems that need it to look nice on a 55+ inch tv. Id like keep the device smaller, like console or SSF pc or smaller. What cost effective devices should I be looking for? Is a GPU needed or will integrated graphics cut it? Thanks in advance.
