What happened at 15:50? I've seen some other clips and it looks like sometimes the crosshair is in a totally incorrect spot (before it corrects itself), or is unresponsive like what happened in this clip. Does it happen often?

I think a lot of people misunderstand this. Basically, gun4ir is a DIY project that individuals can carry out using the information provided by gun4ir. Of course, if you ask someone else to do it, it will cost money. Let's have fun, including making it.

Also you arent limited to Gun4IR DIY solution which is closed source, there is also an opensource OpenFire Samco lightgun solution. If you like tinkering and you dont mind putting stuff together, this is great

Nope, RP Electronics is 3x more expensive you got warrenty and he makes sure to use high quality parts. Chinees is what you see is what you get and understand that people do have many problems with the cheap china solutions. And that 300usd is a expensive gamble so I went for the one from the US company.

It's bad enuff lightguns are over $200 with shipping usually. This dude wants $400 for 1 lightgun without tax and delivery (that would make it $575 only ) Then again he may be assembling 1 at a time in his basement. Putting it together making a 3 D printed shell etc. Then its worth $400 for skilled labour. But if it's mass produced ? NO way it's worth $400 USD !!!

It's a DIY project. If you make it yourself, it's less than $40. If you ask someone to build it, of course it's gonna be expensive. Make it yourself. Gun4IR by far is the best lightgun out there right now.

They are basically modified actual guns from an actual arcade cab,they are expensive just to buy even before modding. Very expensive yes,but the price is justified.

The price isn’t for everyone but keep in mind those are real Namco not clones. Which are pricey already. Then these are hand modified, warrantied, and customer support.
