Pandora Box time is my favorite time! Very clean cable management. I do like how they put quick disconnect terminals on the speaker this time. Other than that, I don't think it's anything particularly special.

Well, I Just purchased a Pandora 3D with a supposed 8000 games yesterday, from wayback arcade in Florida, probably paid way too much at $275 but I am really hoping for is some old school arcade classics like galaga, space invaders, centipede, stargate, etc...most reviews like here are the fighting games. Any thoughts on the classic ones I just mentioned?

Pandora and external controllers is a nightmare. Only the last generation supports some x-input controllers (xbox)

I ordered this online a few weeks back. While I’m generally happy with it, I did notice that graphics acceleration (or lack thereof) tends to be slow on some games (particularly Tekken and NBA Jam). NBA Jam is totally UN-playable because of this issue. I also just discovered that it does NOT come with a USB expansion card. There are 2 USB SLOTS at the back. But that’s all they are: SLOTS. I tried plugging in a generic USB controller for multi-player gaming and noticed the power indicator LED light on the controller wasn’t on. That’s when I realized, this Pandora’s Box 9s doesnt have USB expansions. That’s a bummer. Can you verify if yours comes with working USB expansion input?

9S+ is older model mainboard and running with Cortex Dual Core CPU that is why there ares lowdowns with some games that are demanding little bit more power from the boards. USB Connection is locked out and some mainboards controllers.... not all sadly. Thanks for the comment and feedback 😄

I have the 11s+. Does anyone know how to change the aspect ratio? It's not in the settings. The classic games should not be widescreen. Don't waste your money on this if you got it for classic arcade games. Its missing a lot of my favorites and has a gazillion I never heard of and a lot of repeats....and the widescreen thing. Retropie is so much better.

There is no Pandora out there that haves that option. You can use the Mclassic HDMI Donghle if you wan to swap to other resolution 😅

Try to see if the CF card is still in the socket. It's located on your mainboard. The chines put them in a weird non click socket. And it's hold by a Sticker and the paste get's loose after some time.

@@WickedGamerCollector cheers for this - for info it was actually something to do with the controllers shorting out something on the board. When I unplugged them all worked fine! - So I made sure none of the connectors were touching and plugged it back together and it now all works :)

Adding controller can only be one with couple of these pandora's box systems. For example the Key 7 or Pandora Games 3D. And even then it's limited to some chinees ps2 knockoff controllers.

Wicked Gamer & Collector was wondering, I noticed on some games on the 9s+, that some of the sounds or music doesn’t play for instance donkey Kong, gyruss and galaga to name a few. Does this happen on the original Pandora’s box 6 also? The sounds make the game IMO. But overall I like this 9s+. It’s got everything I like. Just missing a few games though. TEMPEST, defender joust. Looking for someone selling a asteroids/tempest arcade 1up for cheap. Missed out on one for $50. Thanks for your reply in advanced.

Depends where you live and when you order. We have newyear between weeks so give as month delay. From China to Europe takes 2 weeks... I understand it can take up 1 month to the USA. Check your tracking and keep a close eye to it.

I give it a month and there will be a 9S XL. :D It's a shame that it does such a poor job running Mortal Kombat. For positives the stick and buttons seem quite good and (as you said) it has a search. The game list didn't look bad at all. No jump sounds for Sonic 2 was just bizarre. Please let us know if you can add games because that would put it above a bunch of the other Pandora Boxes.

Build your own using an sbc, modded mini console, or Nvidia ShieldTV. I found companies that make the controller cases. This is what I plan to do as the Pandora's boxes have inherent problems, such as no 4:3, crappy games sorting, & outdated emu cores.
