I remember seeing Dickson Mounds when I was about 10 years old..It displayed hundreds of burials in situ. As they were uncovered.they had been left on pedestals of earth. The display consisted of an observation platform and colored lights highlighting particular special individuals, to a recorded soundtrack.. it's been since filled in, but it cemented my interest and fascination with our long distant past
