Throughly enjoyed that, usually I can't watch long videos as get bored easily but that was awesome and kept my attention. Glendalough is just incredible, I go there regularly. Wicklow is just an amazing place 😁 I think you should do one of these for Donegal 👍

Do I need to rent a car or is public transport adequate?

I am unsure about public transport to these spots. There may be tour groups that do this however I would recommend renting a car if possible as you will have more freedom to explore more and spend more time enjoying the scenery.
