I also went thru samples link provided and it seems Mate 20 seems to be constantly sharper than other 2 phones. One can read text on street signs, dirt shot contains lost detail. And also strangly enough first shot in link Huawei its brightest of bunch. But I need to give credit to V40 for street shot and that nice detail on sidewalk. S10 seems to be really soft in photos, but true that video sample seems to be best out of 3 compared.

Yeah same here, helps me a lot in my work. I dont know why they reduce the viewing angle on the G7 tho. The only thing I hate with my G6 camera is sometimes it start so slow, like it can't read the memory fast enough. And no I'm not activating the fast preview or using external memory.

I still like my LG V30 with it's f/1.9 aperture and wider field of view than the V40 the most. Also thanks for giving credit to the originator for pioneering this feature. Also clearly you're being paid by OnePlus.😁😁

I was always an HTC fan, but I also had the Galaxy S8. I then set my sights on the V30 and fell in love with the phone. I eventually smashed the screen and got upgraded to the V40 which to my surprise, I love even more. It's just a great all around phone. Even after going into the store and spending time playing with the Galaxy S10s, I don't feel the need to upgrade anytime soon.

@@bensgadgetreviews With no disrespect sir don't do the review let this phone be underrated .... I mean this was the first phone to launch at MWC but wait it's design is not 2019 updated ..... I would say it has an ugly notch with an aperture of 1.7 , TOF camera for face ID , in display sound tech all this thing with waterproof and militarily grade std certified .... like wow ... and I haven't even mentioned the other half of the tech yet and don't get me started on Z camera features.... the previous model were held back due to LCD display but now with 2k oled screen one plus 7 and s10 r gonna have a hard time...and one last this for the people who r concerned about the camera I just want to say that higher megapixels doesn't make ur photos better u need a good sensor too which this phone clearly have of (f1.5) ..... at last I want to thank the KZbinrs for making this phone underrated so people like us or me can buy this phone at cheaper price.

Huawei Have more options with HDR and nightmode. But your right if you want to compare auto mode its probably not the best in day light.

Like you, I like the ultra wide angle lens (preferably as wide as possible, like 130 degrees, not 107 deg) on both the front and rear camera, but haven't found a phone with a headphone jack, USB C, and in-display fingerprint sensor as well. Do you know of any on the market? Or any that are coming? Thanks.

Hi the only phone that has a wide angle selfie and back camera is the LG V40 and g8. Even then the wide up front is not that wide. And the main is 107 not 120. Also no in display fingerprint reader. I'm afrad the phone you described doesn't exist yet. Though if I have to bet it'll be Huawei who does it this year.

@@bensgadgetreviews Very interesting that it doesn't exist. Will wait for Huawei then. Aren't those other specs (USB C, headphone jack) pretty standard? Here's what I can't understand. These phone companies claim they are removing the headphone jack because of cost cutting or space saving reasons. But they add another camera and the sensors that come with that extra camera. Doesn't make sense to me. Anyways. Oh, another important consideration. I need the phone to work on Tmobile in the US. Hopefully, Huawei's Mate iteration will do it later this year. Intersting comparison😁 Does the Huawei cam have "realistic mode" or something to adjust that over exaggeration in daytime? I prefer realistic colors so the S10+ looks the most balanced to me, but if Mate 20 Pro is adjustable, it also seems to be a good option.

Yeah. You can turn off AI mode which oversaturates and even overexposes a lot .

@BTICronox thats the change they are trying to bring. In my opinion, security update should be provided frequently. LG indeed takes time to get newer version but the problem with G series and the Q series isbthat they got security update in 5 months once. And forget about new Android version. I have a lg q6 video on my channel. Thats great hardware for price. But the new update ruined its battery still no fix provided by LG. However oneplus, Samsung and other companies fix these bugs more frequently.

V50 has newer snapdragon processor and a smoother unibody design with zero camera bump and the pogo pins for adding a second screen. But really not a huge jump from V40.

So perhaps LG doesn't have good noise cancelation. Mega pixel count shines when capturing details, so technically huawei should always win that category. I love the vibrancy on the LG but it looks like in this comparison Samsung might have been more balanced.

The wind noise in lg wide angle video you can actually fixed it by using the wide angle manual mode for video and turning on the wind noise filter.

Also the exposure issue by turning pulling the exposure slider down a lil bit. A big aperture is always welcomed as you can turn the exposure down at any given moment but a phone with a smaller aperture cannot do the same

I had the G6 and the camera worked well but the phones performance slowed down dramatically after 6 months of use. I even had a boot loop issue with 3 of my LG phones, so now I'm using an S10
