Widening cast and narrow cast in ABAP OOPS

Hi Sankara, Since Morning I am looking for a good example of understanding the use of widening cast. I was already knowing the concept of narrow casting and wide casting(Nicely explained on ZVOLVING.COM). But for particularly I was not getting the use of wide casting.By your video I came to know it in easy way. Thank you very much.. Now I am going to practice by creating a local class.Thanks again...

Hi Sankara Rao garu, Good example to explain wide & narrow casting. Here i have one doubt, with out using narrow cast can we do wide casting? In your example .. can i use the same statement lo_cl1 ?= lo_if in program and class3(eo_ref ?= lo_cl1) . I have tried it is working properly. Could you please explain this behavior?
