how about the cloud background in the first part of the opening? the part where shinji is standing? the background at 14:10. DO you have a file for that or something?

I personally just found a high quality version of the opening on KZbin, took a screenshot of the clouds and then, in order to make them move as in the original, I zoomed in on the upper right and used keyframes to get them back into their original position. They might not look exactly as they do in the opening, but theres no other way. I think he did it the same way, too. Sorry for responding two years later, but someone might find this useful
