Widespread protests across Manipur with thousands marching for peace | News9

Manipur has been suffering from violence and unrest for the last 13 months and is longing for peace. On Monday, amid tight security, widespread protests were held in several districts of Manipur. Both Meitei and Kuki-Zo groups are seeking parliamentary intervention to end the year-long strife in the state. On Tuesday, womenfolk took to the streets once again in Imphal West demanding peace.
