The one thing I can say there very well built, extra strong, and bulletproof . The stock frame will definitely give before anything thats being added. You do a killer job man like the video . I modify a lot of things my self so what your doing is a lot further. After my last lift I’ve looked at it and said why didn’t I just take 3 inches out of the strut tower and put a leveling block in and that way I wouldn’t have to modified my top a arm ball joint angle then reinforce it . I just cut the bottom side kept bending it till the ball joint looked right . Being from West Virginia an in the coal mines I heated a roof bolt (the middle peace minus the head and threads) placed it up both sides an around the ball joint area roll was at just added peace’s to make the top a arm strong again . I have a 04 4Runner had a 04 Tacoma wrecked it but I’m going out more on this 4 runner I wanna build the engine I got 4.0 and just got another 04 for parts frames bad came from Ohio we’re the salt in the winter killed it . I’ll keep checking all your work out Toyota I’m loving it !

Dude this is so savage, very nice fabrication work. I like seeing the issues and the whole process of r&d. I want to completely redesign the front end of my nissan hard body and maybe build toyota style arms with my tube bender. im curious how you figure out the geometry? Do i just stretch everything out a few inches horizontally?
@theclan4adventures3 жыл бұрын
I built two kits for my 06 pathfinder using factory arms one is 4inches wider per side the other kit was 7inches wider per side all depends on what you want to do..Id recommend titan lowers and aftermarket uppers and stay 3inch wider so you can use titan swap axles otherwise your going to start spending money.. he doesn't talk about the spring rate changes he had to make on his shocks to get this to work.. its not as easy as it seems ..

@trailchoco4 жыл бұрын
just some feedback, the sound was really bad, just very low most of the video and the music then very loud all of the sudden , if u can maybe invest a better mic of just try finding the issue with the voice audio been so low cuz honestly the Content its awesome but i can see the audio issues making viewers change to some other video, like i said its just some feedback so u can make improve on ur videos mate.

@FILTHY4R Жыл бұрын
Start designing it based on the factory arm and then improve the design until you're happy with it. Then do that again and again until everything is as good as you think you can get it. Remember that triangles will always be on of the strongest shapes, so creating a bunch of 2D and 3D triangle structures will reduce weight while adding strength. I'll be posting another video of the new arms in about a month!

If your recording is too quiet, make sure to lower the music volume too. KZbin actually do a bit of normalization so if the whole video is very quiet youtube will boost the volume on the whole video. But if the music is louder than anything else, the normalization often turn down the volume on the whole video, making your voice even quieter.
