I'm rewatching this great season after watching it in full and I have to say, this is an excellent episode to rewatch after finding out who the Mole is. (SPOILERS below for the entire season, including the Mole's identity) . . . . . It's funny realizing that Sigrid basically stole from the Mole... not that it helped her much in the end. While it wasn't mentioned in the final episode's recap of Thomas's sabotages, you can see that Thomas promptly put his hand up to be one of the name identifiers which would have been easier to sabotage in. Then when he was put on the drawing group instead, he made a casual mention of drawing a gin tonic to represent himself (which is hardly a logical choice when you really think about it) that subtly influenced Sanne into suggesting the overly convoluted plan to draw everyone's favorite drinks which made her look more suspicious instead of him. Clever, Thomas. Thomas was also the one who drew blocks for the contestants to draw in, and I'd bet money on my house that he deliberately drew it too close to the sea so that Roos's drawing got washed away and drew the happy/sad masks for himself because he knew Sigrid would likely misidentify them for herself instead. Add to that Thomas getting Diederik to completely trust him and how he was in the car that had the most important info and was at the front where he could lead the group into wrong turns and run yellow lights, and this episode becomes a showcase in how brilliant a Mole Thomas was when you rewatch it with the benefit of hindsight -- especially seeing how *no one* in the comments had Thomas as a main suspect at this point!

Ok first: really good episode. My great thanks once again to Marieke for her fantastic work subtitling this show. This episode had two really good challenges. The car challenge... I'm not a fan of the challenges where the contestants use the cities they're in as a "game board", since they don't actually get to do much interacting with the culture. But in this case the focus was clearly on the contestants... even if that did involve quite a lot of bickering. It's not quite my taste, but on the positive side I do like how they used split-screen editing. (Man, the editing of this show has massively improved this season.) Overall a very good episode with some stunning cinematography in the second challenge especially. * Ok SPOILERS. * So Roos was eliminated... not a huge surprise, although I didn't pick her as the "obvious" eliminee this time out. I'm seriously doubting my "Sigrid is de Mol" theory. She seemed to do most of the beach task single-handedly. Which leads me to my new top suspect: Imanuelle! She couldn't recognise her own flag, even though Sigrid did? She bought in $500 in spectacular fashion in Episode 2, but has led the group wrong in pretty much every other task. She wasted loads of time in Episode 1 by not spotting the envelope (and then acted like the hero for finding it later on, when it was about to be discovered anyway). Imanuelle's successes feel as though they may be "double bluffs", whereas her actual role may be more sinister. It's notable that she's the one person Roos said couldn't be the Mole. We've heard this before in at least one recent season... people saying "Nah, it couldn't be X", and then getting immediately eliminated, when it actually was X. * My backup suspect is Jochem. He's had his share of suspicious moments. I'm still semi-inclined to rule out Jeroem and Thomas, on the basis that they didn't have any chance to affect the money in the first episode (two of the helicopter-goers have already been eliminated, which doesn't look good for the two who are still in). That leaves Sanne, Sigrid and Diedrik as possibilities, and it could definitely be any one of them, although I think there are problems with the case against Sigrid now. It might be the year of the "Fun Mole" if it's Diedrik or Imanuelle. Sigrid has a pretty convincing player persona if it's her... she also did most of the legwork at the beach challenge, where they won E2500... and for some reason I just can't see Sanne as the Mole. So for me right now it's Imanuelle, Jochem, Diedrik or Sigrid, in that order.

Spoilers for my suspects: Sanne has been my suspect since day 1, but I am adding a second unlikely Mole to keep my eyes on. I think Thomas is so meek and silent that he could be creating a lot of sabotage. The mere fact that he had brought his questionaire with him makes me wonder if the answers on it are the actual answers or if the production team crafted up a fake version to punish people who steal from suitcases. If it turns out Thomas is the Mole, and this was an elaborate ruse, I will feel very proud for catching it early.

I do agree with Thomas. Its also why I don't think Sigrid is the mole. If she was the mole, why would she try to steal Thomas' notebook? That just seems really stupid for the mole to do. A lot of things could go wrong (getting caught), with no upside (she has no use for it). Sanne is my main suspect as well. I keep going back and forth on Dietrick. In some sense he seems to obvious. I did notice his singing with Roos, messed them up in the navigation mission.

I think Imanuelle if i spelled that correctly :P, 1) in the first episode she walked past the money 2) She stole Jochem's Mole Book (i mean everybody is doing that but ok) 3) she wants herself as coach.

One of my mole went home. But that person is not my main mole though. Spoiler alert: . . . . . . I'm still on Sanne but Jochem is now growing. At Relay Task, he was the one taking half of 1000 bill even Sigrid warned him. At Drawing task, he drew a Bear instead of Micky Mouse. And you know: Mouse = Mole. At Driving task, he made Sigrid confusing between 10 and 11 clues which was the main reason for failing later. Sigird may be the mole, too. So those three are my mole at this moment.

It feels like it would be too obvious if they actually showed 3 mole actions from the mole in a single episode. Doesn't mean that Jochem is definitely not the mole though.

Paradoxinee More than that! Jochem was one of the people who could've hidden the half €1,000 bill. But the biggest thing pointing to Jochem for me was at the beginning of the episode where he's like, "My Mole book! My Mole book! Who took my Mole book?", and then five times in the episode we saw "Powell's Books" show up! It almost seems too obvious, so maybe it's the producers trying to throw us off.

At this point I think the mole is either sanne or sigrid. The "mole" book in the bookstore referencing a women mole. When they first walked into the theater in episode one we saw the mole logo appear ... I think it might have been sigrid leading the contestants into the room when that happened. Failing the car assignment by convincing people to travel to a church.

Man, Everyone that leaves is someone I ruled out. Before this episode I did think it wasn't Jeroen, Roos, Imanuelle, Jochem, Sanne I felt like it wasn't likely that the mole got an exemption Ep1, Imanuelle was playing too hard. and Jochem... nothing of note either way. but now Sanne... hmmm. Part of why I didn't think it was her from E1 is I thought she didn't make a good player, and would be leaving early. But now she's survived 3 executions. And the drink idea? weird. So she's on my list with Sigrid, Diederik, and Thomas. Much more suspicious of the two women.
