Honestly streamer mode should also change your name for everyone else too. Something like “Widowmaker” or even “Widowmaker-8891” would be easy enough. Change it if the person changes hero, etc.

if anything it should hide every name, cause everytime he would check his kill count, stream can check who is in the game and see if they recognize any names. a toggle to hide names overall would be a thing, so the names would be the hero but hey, might not work well with an indie company doing teh coding.

I don't really have anything against 5 stacking or hard focusing widows (as a widow tracer main myself) since you are getting value for your team every time you survive while the group is focusing you, only thing that is triggering is when you survive for 10-20 seconds straight while getting focused as a widow and your team doesn't capitalize.

​@@Fabe919The issue isn't that they're diving and focusing him, the issue is that the moment they know it's him they immediately go out of their way to counter and stop playing the objective just to kill him. If you've seen previous videos, when he's claimed to be hacking 1 or 2 may focus him and get tilted but the game at least plays somewhat normal, vs here they all go out of their way to ruin his fun just for content. Tl;dr fuck stream snipers and fuck teams who want to ruin a single persons fun

It's okay to be tilted, especially in situations like this. Sometimes you just want to play the game and not have 5 people focus you just bc of a character youre playing. Stuff like focusing and counterswapping happens pretty much in every game no matter who you play but that doesn't make it any less annoying. I can especially understand how it can piss streamers off even more then normal people because they're bound to be focused/counterpicked due to not just what hero they play but just bc a streamsniper or a fan want to be in a video so they attempt to be on the streamers screen constantly. Sometimes you just get annoyed at a game with reason or without reason and thats fine, as long as you don't get tilted to the point of harrasing enemies or something similar.

He's not playing in GM, he is playing with a duo mercy that is pocketting him all the game long tbh and we can see that the mercy have the "diamond role rank" title so I guess he is playing on a diamond/master lobby and versus a 2 stacks + 3 stacks as he is in duo himself, the lobby is fair but he is tilting because he is now a big streamer that everyone knows

would be nice to see a streamer mode in overwatch when turning it on it, every match you get a different name. and when looking at the friends list it changes their name to a shorter version makes it better for streamers in a small way. also when getting focused hard by a 5 stack it's never fun so I know why that frustrating.

Sure it would help a bit but the fact is if they see their own name on kenzos stream playing the same map and heroes. They know it's kenzo. And it's not really that hard to look up, there's not that many widow streamers. You could just scout the preview picture on the streams and see who is playing that map.

I feel like a lot of people don't understand that when people know it's you, they will immediately go right for you, even if it means throwing the point. They just wanna kill you so badly so they can say "lol I killed Kenzo he's not that good" even if it's a free W, and that can be pretty tilting. I understand streamers who just want a fair game where the enemy plays smart and don't just immediately rush to you. It's bad content, and even if you win because of it, it still sucks. OW2 needs a good and proper system for streamers. Something that hides your name every match. Too many people recognize your name in game, and eventually word spreads.
