@@delete4398 In my honest opinion, I think it's because her ex bf was the previous winner of two major competitions, plus she's had a decent amount of media attention and has a relatively large social media following. She is really good better than most of us as we’re trying to get better but some of the phrasing is unnecessary and too unnecessary and especially in the esaye sonata no.3 the intonation was all over the place and way to hard for her abilities it takes a really good musician years to make that piece sound good if your already talented and practice everyday for hours a day for decades.

I have to agree with vetlerradio the non binaural recording (stereo I suppose) is fuller, richer and more pleasing to the ear but the video source is the same. I guess binaural recording is suitable for more than two instruments and they have to be as close as possible to the microphone... at least that's what I saw at Chesky records. Good luthiers take one year or more to deliver you a good violin. For $15,000 or so.
@rustykoenig35666 жыл бұрын
Ah, but good luthiers cannot deliver technique and mechanics to you for ANY price. Put a $150-200 violin into David Garrett's hands and see what he "delivers" to the "cheap" instrument. If you do not have technique/mechanics honed in and the time to learn your instrument (as every instrument is different and will have its own "personality" ) then no matter how much $$ you spend, it will not deliver a sound like that. Granted acoustics do provide to the sound, but even more so is the mechanics/technique/intimate knowledge of YOUR instrument.
