It seems as though the major networks these days, are duty bound to include a gay couple, with no connection to the story line whatsoever. I mean whatever the sexual orientation of a couple is - who cares, but its like they have to empahsise it. Lesbian couple in 'zoo'' us series - camera pans to the double bed where two women must be sleeping together - who cares. Under the dome - lesbian couple emphasized, Murder in the first - lawyer was lesbian and her getting divorced from her partner - randomly in the plot. WHO CARES.!!

obviously you... like you say it doesn't matter but you are literally being such a hypocrite right now to be honest. they aren't "emphasising" anything. if it were a straight couple you wouldn't even think twice about it I bet. you're basically saying that people need a "reason" to add lgbt+ characters to a show... like is the fact that they actually exist and need representation not enough? how is someones sexuality even supposed to be related to a plot or storyline....? like unless the show or movie is actually ABOUT someones sexuality, does it really matter?
