I was best friends with Michael growing up, and in regards to the text only thing in retrospect Laurie pulled textbook narcissistic tactics which included pushing away all of Michael's friends and family. After a certain point lack of communication becomes the norm, and you can only tell him so many times its hurting him until you have to go "I'll be here when he's ready". You see this time and time again and you have to hope it doesn't end up the way it did.

I don't remember the name of the person who had been murdered but his wife also was sending text messages to people and no one was seeing him or talking to him in person. His son (I don't know how old the son was) sent him a message that said, "What was the name of our first dog?" and two other questions that I can't remember but questions that his father would know but his step mother would not. She had been responding to everyone's text messages (as her deceased husband) but the questions her step son asked were just ignored because she had no idea what the answers were to his questions. That's how his son knew for sure his dad was dead.

My own mother was exactly like this woman. She hated my dad for an infidelity that he had committed in the very early 50s. She held a grudge against him for all the years they were married. From 1948 till 2000 the year my dad died. Instead of divorcing him she just punished him with a miserable life. Long story short, I do believe this woman was capable of killing her husband and burying him in the yard. Some people can justify their actions, to themselves, that it's ok. Sick. But it's a reality

@@lcjones0519 thank you Lauren. While I do agree with you 100%. I think my sons still think the hostility that existed between their dad and me during our divorce, after 30 years of marriage, still perpetuates. Yes, their dad and I are like oil and water, I accept that now but do think they may think they are torn between "taking sides" which is honestly not true. We don't love eachother but our kids are our kids. More communication between their siblings especially our adult daughter would give them a better perspective on how the situation is. Ok I will end this, saying I cry many tears every day.

I think the gentleman (the former D.A.) is missing the point on the mother doing the right thing and calling the police upon finding body parts in the suitcase. Don't forget she was probably a single mother which itself involves a lot of trauma and pyschosis in the life of her child and she probably began to fear for her life realizing her son was capable of such a heinous act. This is probably the reason she immediately called the police.

I git mental help when my baby girl died in a car accident. I eaites too long. It had began to take affect on my physical appearance. I hurt so bad even now. April 1st 2021 was the worse day of my life. I never want another call like that again.

If it wasn't for the fact that she wrote all those messages and stuff etc she could say she didn't know he was dead there but she did So I can't see what took so long to arrest her after finding the body and what about the new husband what did he do when they found him I guess for sure he knows he is legally married now

The first case is seriously bizarre. So killers dont have freedom, they have to keep up with the pretense of a victim's existence. Why do the killing and go through this hustle? Geez people are sick, why kill in the first place and then worse thing, go through this hustle. Smf

The police automatically should bring cadaver dogs in if they're going to be searching if the dog senses something in the vicinity that could be log down for future investigation.sometimes it's not a bad idea to bring some extra stuff to the crime scene you never know what you might find

the sad thing is the I'm done leave me alone texts, I literally sent those to my family in the last month because I am going through something. and that's the sad part is that there are people like me out there who do need time alone to re invent or restart their lives.... and the fact that this woman may have taken advantage of her husband's disposition scares me and I live in Florida

I hope whatever you were going through when you sent that text, you are doing better now. I hope you are starting to reinvent/restart your life slowly but surely and that you are happy with whatever progress you have made. 😊🙏🏻
