For reference, how tall is the rider? My wife is 5’6” and is considering this as her first bike.

@@MikesProjectsandHobbiesMC appreciate the response. Bought my wife one for Christmas. She’s 5’6”. 1st bike for her. No dealers in area had one in stock built. Had to buy sight unseen. Had a Yamaha TTR230 in stock. She was tippy toe. Too much bike for her as a new rider, anyways.

Just put the Tusk tail light kit on last night . Got everything put on but I couldn't get the font light to come on with the switch they have for it. Was out in the garage till one so might have over looked it. Was just wanting to know what wires did ya use from the wiring harness and what ones go to what color . I'd really appreciate the help. Thanks

The kit has a red wire that has to be connected to the power source. Are all the other lights working? Just the headlight is not working? All I did was find the 12v + that comes on when you turn the bike on. Later I routed that to a key switch so I could turn off power with the key

Did you have to install a more powerful stator to keep the battery charged up enough ? I want to do this mod but i'm worried that the xtra current draw from adding the headlight and tail light might not allow the battery to get charged enough. I believe a stator is similar to a alternator Thanks

No and it seems to work just fine. Good thing is you can turn the headlight off if you want.

If you home state will not do it you have to pay a service to do it for you. Dirtlegal and streetOHV are a couple of them.
