I respect the wife reason for not wanting another child,because she was unhappy,give her space & time,let them live as a family of 3 for now,mother in law has change a bit,But her mindset is the same,will not change any time soon,untill she gets a grandson❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

I think it is a shame for a woman to stay home, raise her children(which I think is what she ought to do, not let somebody else raise her children) take care of the house, but then when those same people get upset, they throw it in your face well we bought your food we bought your clothes, etc. Being a stay at home mother is a full-time job… It’s a shame that we don’t get paid like the mothers who work a public job.

If it were me, I wouldn't be so forgiving. Imagine falling down the stairs and losing the baby, because of that witch of a mother-in-law who wanted her to abort the fetus, thinking it is another baby girl. And that husband of hers is a useless Mama's boy. Leopards don't change or lose their spots. Especially with men. The older they get, the more set they become in their ways and they get even worse! And that witch is still insisting on her having a second child!! I can't believe it! She caused them to lose the one in her belly, and now here she is, seemingly repentant, but the moment she opens her mouth, it is to ask why this woman don't try for another baby!!! GRRRR!! And this daughter-in-law is still talking to her, saying she wishes she can earn her respect???!? GEEZ!!! Tell her to get lost!

Couldn’t agree more. This isn’t a happy ending, she’s willingly gone back to a toxic family that hurt both herself, her daughter and killed her unborn baby. I wouldn’t let that mother-in-law anywhere near my child. So disappointing.

Its this filial piety. Its respect your elders as they always know best. The toxic connection cant be severed unless you break away from family. But these communities are so interconnected its impossible to just break away.
