My father was disabled due to ALS. He passed recently, but my mother did her absolute best to take care of him. She was almost always in their room while my brother and I cooked and whatnot. We fought for him and made sure he was comfortable. Never thought of him as an inconvenience.

Prior to quitting my job I had a 758 credit score less than $2.5k in credit card debt with $30k available. To over $36k in CC debt bc I didn't think it would take that long to get approved bc of a prior accident in 2001 were I suffered a TBI, partial left frontal lobe removal, life support,... I was able to get back most of my mobility and maintained a job. I don't know who to contact about legal matters bc my family know the judges, state officials. My kids are going to be the ones that hurt.

I think I get what you're saying, but I don't look it at like a job. I look at it like "I want to". Not that "well, I have to because I made a promise". I don't "have to". I don't "have to" do anything if I don't want. But when people get married they often can't imagine ever being in a situation like this. So it's easy to promise "for better or worse" when things are "better". But when life happens, it can hit you in the face fast and hard. And not everyone is prepared.

I realize this is a created script. Thank wife makes me sick to my stomach. My husband has been disabled since 2011. My Mom is now 90year old. I take great care of them. I usually don't compliment my self, but I do all I can for both of them. I finally squeeze my appts in between them. I promised my Dad I would take care os our Mom.
