Seriously I can almost guarantee one of the parents said I will take that risk then quarantine me I am willing to sign an order to make a sacrifice to be with my child.... I'm not sure what they gave him. He was in a nursing home here in Franklin Indiana (Otterbein) and last weds they called us to say that 2 employees and him had tested positive. They transferred him to a hospital in Indianapolis on weds night and released him back to Otterbein on Monday afternoon. He didn't need ventilation and only had mild symptoms. He was very weak. Couldn't hold the phn to talk for more than 5mins. (Since then many more patients there tested positive.) I will ask my husband if he knows what medications they gave him.

The hospital should have at least did a Skype or FaceTime so they could see and talked to him one last time and say goodbye 😭.What ever video/picture protocols/ policies hospitals have needs to be forfeited in lieu of this unprecedented pandemic in modern times. As a nurse I totally get why they were not allowed to say their goodbyes in person as to protect them and the community from further cases and fatalities. His child is not even a teenager. I’m sure she would have forever cherished that last moment with her dad via Skype or FaceTime. It is believed the ability of hearing is the last thing to go. Perhaps it would have helped him transition in peace hearing their voices. May God help us all Lord Jesus. Thank you to the entire medical team who took care of him and who are taking care of many others. There is IF you are diagnosed EARLY. His wife needs treatment ASAP. That lack of smell indicates that the virus has infected her frontal cortex in the brain. It infects MORE than just the lungs.
