In the Tampere version, a few moths before Wembley, Floor asks the audience if they want to hear and old song, which has not been on the setlist for 10 years. Stargazers. Too operatic for Anette, to sing. Just saw a video from 2015 with Tuomas telling he wanted this song back to the setlist. Floor wanted "Sleeping Sun", and got it.

Stargazers was the first Nightwish song I ever listened to, way back in 1999. It was great with Tarja back in the day, but it takes on a whole new dimension with Floor!

For me there were 2 premieres in your reaction. The first - that I first heard the performance from the Wembley concert (so far I listened to the original audio performance and the one from the Tampere concert). I loved Nightwish in the 90s and fell off during the Annette era. This was the song that made me take note of Floor and think, oh, maybe they are worth checking out again.

You mentioned that Nightwish is one of the big “reaction bands”. If it weren’t for channels like yours and others I would never have discovered them. Most of what I listen to is Rush, Yes, Genesis and Dream Theater. I know there’s a wealth of good European bands like Nightwish but I just haven’t been exposed to them. Im loving Nightwish since I discovered them in 2020 on KZbin. They’re one of my pandemic bands. At least something good came out of the pandemic. Keep up the Nightwish reactions. More from Wembly would be great.

This is very much a Tarja Era song. And you can imagine how it started during Tarja Era. However Floor does sing this song very well too. In Tampere 2015 NW performed this same song too. It has been over 10yrs from their set list. This wasn't the opening in Wembley, it was Shudder before the Beautiful.

This is a theory of mine, but in this show, Floor was singing a bit higher pitch than she should in this particular song. That's the reason why Marco starts whistling on the bridge part, to give her the right tone. After that she lowers her pitch a little bit.

It's not a theory until data supports it. Without data, it's merely an hypothesis. Guess what, there ain't no data. Floor as usual is squarely on pitch. Marko was just being Marko, which is why we all love him.

@@billattercliffe8655 feels like you got somehow offended by my comment, but I'm platonically in love with Floor, and I think she's the best singer Nightwish has ever had. And I miss Marko a lot. The data leading me to that theory is the fact that this song on this show she was singing in a higher pitch than the rest of the shows I've seen (and I've seen a lot), and after Marko whistling she lowers it. Even she is human and there are many factors that can lead the greatest singer to make a mistake.

Didn't say how floor did realize your a tarja fan you had 2 album 🤔 I have gone back and listened to both tarja and Annette didn't hate them but I wouldn't choose them either especially live recordings where much better but we know why I am a fanatic live band fan because you can't fake it I liked tarja much better live than Annette God bless

Not my favourite Floor performance as more influenced by Tarja who she admired but don't like that style of operatic tone as it lacks the warmth that Floor usually brings.
