Jingse teamed up with Yawan to bring down Ruyi. Pity she didn't realize Yawan's evilness before hand. The series doesn't show Jingse's reaction after the revealing of Yawan's crimes. I would have liked to have seen it, and her realization of how much pain she caused her father by working with Yawan. No matter how much she dislikes Ruyi, she truly doesn't want to cause her father to suffer.

Err nope I think you misunderstood the politics. Consort Yu killed Ling Yunche in Ruyi's name to make the Emperor back off torturing Ruyi. Because that is what the Emperor wants Ruyi to do to prove her innocence, and Ruyi refuses to do it. If Ruyi had told Emperor to kill Ling yunche in the first place, maybe Ling yunche wouldn't be tortured this way. At the most he will be dismissed to a place far away.
