Hi Ian. A few videos back I mentioned how I didn’t understand these 24 hour reads videos and feel that I was wrong in my assumption. Of course all readers read way more than 24 hours over their life time, it’s more about how much I can read in a 24 hour period. I started my first 24 challenge with Glen A. Larson’s ‘Battlestar Galactica’. I’m only 3-4 hours in. Will let you know how it goes. Oh and Lonesome Dove is on my Audible TBL. Great vid as always.

YES YES YES!! Red Rising AND The Blade Itself!?!? Freaking love it! The Blade Itself is amazing, but some people don’t like how slow the plot is. It really does set you up right for books two and three!! There is not a single Abercrombie book that I have read that hasn’t been amazing!!

My favorite reads in August Pageboy by Elliott page memoir I really enjoyed this book definitely worth a read it's one of my favorite reads of 2023 Rememberings by sinead o'connor memoir it was interesting learning so much about her life it's sad she's no longer here she trtruly a remarkable woman who was so gifted if you are a fan of her music or just curious about her life then check out her memoir

I could open up the flood gates with this one!! I’ll recommend three: 1. Red Rising - any of the books will do! If you haven’t, I highly recommend this series. It’s absolute perfection. I have yet to read one of them and it not be a 5 star! 2. Malice - this is the first book in a quartet by John Gwynne. Excellent epic fantasy. The best series I read in 2022!! 3. The Dark Tower - I rave too much about this series, but I don’t care! From book 1 to book 8 they are ALL outstanding!!

I DNF’d Deadhouse Gates..there’s just something about that book I cannot stand. So, I read an in-depth synopsis of the book so I could move one to Memories of Ice!! I did have to skip some of the sexual stuff, but honestly, it was everything else about that book I detested🙈
