Put a multi meter on the battery and see if the voltage goes up when you gas it down if not put a meter on the alternator on the ground and touch the wire on the top terminal I don't remember what color it is its the plug with the 2 wires in it put it on the high side and see what it reads and vice versa...make sure your meter is set to DC or u can check it on the battery and see if it's leaking AC in the alternator also..if it has a lot of Ac leakage Change the Alternator again buy a good one n not a referb sometime u git a bad one I have 3 times...

Try tapping a 12v sorce on the signal wire for a couple seconds if its a self-exciting (one wire) alternator....sometimes new alternators or alternators that sit for awile need that done to start charging.
