Difficulties in life keeps one humble & brings one closer to God, but it applies only to a few. Helping someone fallen in life is very rare & good virtue, but as u yourself say that, it is being misused, & there is a strong tendency to take advantage of someone's goodness, then one has to control, as to how it is given, as d receiver would have no value for d very giver's hard earned money esp Cash being given to rise in life. In fact with things coming easy it cd get misused & later, other relatives appear on d scene to enjoy. Tomorrow there wd b higher expectations. There is an ancient saying - "Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day, but teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime". which means that the ability to work is more beneficial than a one-time handout. With d amount of sweets, drinks & fireworks, it create great health issues. So continue doing your good job of entertaining & reaching out, but pls b extra cautious, as there r plenty of wolves in sheep clothing around to take undue advantage.
