I just thought of an even faster, but much harder bridging method. It's the Andromeda but you place blue ice under you and crouch to place a trap door during the rise of your jump, then jump twice per block and switch back to the blue ice slot for the next cycle. For speed bridging, you don't "spam" right-click. You have to time it exactly with your shifting to ensure you don't fall off. Also, sometimes holding it down is not the best way to do it, so I would advise right-clicking with your shift at every block.
