Rant mode on: Critchley has instilled fear into the players. Some say it’s the players fault, but it isn’t it’s down to the negativity of Critchley. Fair enough Lavery did a lot of running about when he came on. However Beesley offered nothing yesterday yet he waited until 70 minutes to bring Joseph on. He came out with the same lines in his post match interview that we’ve heard all season. The players were passionless yesterday and if they can’t turn up for a game that potentially put us in the playoff places they can all do one. Norburn is so overrated, always looking to pass backwards and for a so called captain he’s no leader. Rant mode off:
@LeeCharlesTV7 ай бұрын
personally I blame the players first and foremost for really uninterested to get the win for 70 minutes until we actually started trying to force something and I blame Critch for 1. not motivating them to be bang up for it 2. continuing to watch the same thing not work away from home, game after game and losing by playing this system that isn't working 3. The inability to see it is clearly not working so change it

I have said too many times this season we are not good to pass the ball around the back,we loose the ball nearly every time, we know our strength is down the sides with speed. Draining negative and boring. We played like we were defending a one bill lead and we were loosing.

yes totally agree and I was saying much the same during the game it felt like we were playing to 'snatch a winner with a bit of luck' despite the fact we were 1-0 down. It was difficult to get your head around watching it

Listened to commentary on Radio Lancashire. Sounded as though we started very slowly with wing backs stuck in defense. V ordinary goal conceded. Never sounded like we were going to score although some good opportunities. Compare with the spirit we showed playing with 10 men against Portsmouth. Sorry for supporters who made the journey to watch such an indifferent performance.
@LeeCharlesTV7 ай бұрын
we did start slowly, it was a goal conceded by dreadful defending, we truly never did look like were going to score and when we had a chance you didn't think they would score and they proved they couldn't. There was no fighting spirit til about the 85th minute by which time it was too late, we looked like were playing to try and snatch a winner unaware we were 1-0 down! it was literally as bad as it gets and a total waste of £30!

Hi Lee. I was the tall gangly chap in the row behind you with grey hat on. I was disappointed. You cant knock the work ethic of Coulsen, Lavery and Jospeh. They made the difference. I believe Byres stepped up after Norburn came off. But beesley again! Was bad. Won maybe one header losing ball etc. Dembe wasnt on form at all. His set peices and corners were awful. Beesley got an absolute roasting of Critch about ten mins before he came off. But Jospeh should have been on at half time. Dont rate CJ at all. Hes a lazy player waits for the ball to come to him most of the time. We just lack luster in the last kick and finish. Real shame. Its very tight for play offs pal. I will co tinue to be there with them until the end. Hope to get meet you at next home game. Are you coming to Carlisle?

Critchley isn't under any pressure to motivate players, change the system or exite the fans as he knows he will be here at least next season maybe longer. He really does need to go. Sadler need to put him on one of Karls 12 month rolling contracts that would put a rocket up his arse.
@LeeCharlesTV7 ай бұрын
Yes in many ways Karl had quite a lot of things right just due to his tight wad ways. He was very clever at not spending anymore than he had to and a 12 month rolling contract is exactly what Critch should have been offered 🙂👍🏻

Poor performance, terrible tactics, No plan B, same every away game can't fault home performances however critchley is not capable of changing things away to get results I've been to most away games this season and it's hard work traveling watching that team I don't know what the answer is but new blood and new manager seems to be the only way out of this dreary pattern of football we play
@LeeCharlesTV7 ай бұрын
It was dreary at Burton but this game was worse and I can't understand why Critch thought we played well? They should have been getting the hairdryer treatment it was far from playing well in my eyes, the first shot after 38 minutes jeez what does he see??

yes that does sometimes happen and I can imagine it is really tough being an Everton player and a fan at the moment (looking from the outside in it looks an incredible financial mess) but when you have a chance to get into the top 6 you would hope the players would be going for it and not looking like they were going through the motions playing a training match

We were promised an attacking team under critchley in keeping with the blackpool tradition, however what we are repeatedly seeing is the ball passed back to the keeper then either pumped forward, where we invariably surrender possession, or more of the same passing at a snails pace across the back , that is of course until we mess it up and they almost score. Ball given to Marvin by the keeper and he literally stands there with it wondering what to do, all the while the clock is ticking and we are losing the game. I'm sick of it and won't be going to Derby to watch more of this dross.
