Kris was my idol as a kid. Loved watching him play now to see him to do this is incredible. I was born around Liverpool not too far from Wigan in the Central Park days - how far they have come! Well done Wigan Warriors and all involved for a magnificent season.

Only worth anything if Penrith play their top squad. NRL needs to look at player workload and start to see why more and more are pulling out of games that don’t contribute to winning the competition.

Nothing wrong with it, all teams have to move forward and modernise. Premier League, NFL, NRL, European Football teams all have done it. If we stick to the old stuff, we will never move forward

@@vxder9854 well it's still awful no matter what we've won with it, the old badge was the town crest, we're as not it's just an edited Costa coffee badge with a vikings head in the middle, don't care what anyone says it was criminal to change it, especially to something a million times worse. They didn't change it to move forward, but I'd love to know what was going through he's head when he did that

I think it’s funny that Penrith deny the fans the world club challenge game. “Oh we win too much and can’t do it because of Vegas”. Don’t worry about the fans or the tradition. Work it out you babies. It is just one game and we want to see Wigan beat you.

That's be serious tho kris Harry Smith is nowhere near as good as Nathan cleary, I think Smith might slightly be better a kicking in play, but cleary can also kick 40/20s for fun, cleary also breaks the defensive line quite often, something smith rarely does. I think the only reason Wigan should stay away from cleary, is because by the time he would even consider playing in super league he will probably be 32/34. If cleary wanted to come over after next season and he's shoulder as been fine then we'd be stupid to not try and sign him, just imagine the marketing you'd get from just having that bloke in your squad, I'd still keep Harry Smith tho he's kicking game is special

You have to frame what Kris is saying in the sense that, okay HOW do I tell my halfbacks that have just won everything there is to be won between them that one of them has to go? If you look at the other teams in the NRL, do you think that Manly would just drop DCE for the chance at Cleary? or would Storm just say "well done on the Dally M Jerome, but clear out your desk".

How highly does Kris rate Kalyn Ponga ! Kalyn's salary as the league's highest paid player reflects that. $1.4. Nathan spends far too much time off the field.

Ponga was also injured for half the season. He's missed more footy than Cleary has over the last 5 years.
