Loudness war, analog gear, all sorts of reasons

My take is how could this era be sustained? Original productions released on vinyl proudly and making a few quid as well! Suddenly becomes a share fest of mp3s which ultimately imo killed this and many genres. Nothing worthy of class productions without an incentive albeit coin.
