I love the way she says "I did have to find a way to stop painting illegally" so nonchalanty lol... Love this story, so interesting

She turned that tag into a brand and launched into fashion. Her fashion designs are amazing and quite diverse while also featuring her original tag.

I enjoy these Real Shorts. They're similar to the other stories in that they offer glimpses into various lives but it's even more fascinating because they're true.

I've got mad respect for her. I'd love to see a Miss 17 video. She had LA on lock a few years ago, I remember.

I have actually seen her work before, and now that I know it's not some just a group of young kids that might be in some gang and that's their sign, it's really nice to know how hard working of a lady she is and where the claw came from

those gangs are sometimes the only family those "punks" have. don't judge. you don't know what you'd do if you were in their situation. just enjoy the video.

It is common knowledge that gang life equates to crime. How is that kind of life beneficial to ones well being? Most gang members either end up in prison, hooked on drugs, or worse:dead. This so called "family" you speak of can be found anywhere, you don't have to be involved in criminal organizations to find it. The notion that you can only find acceptance among a bunch of criminals is pretty silly.
@CrystalEyesxx12 жыл бұрын
gangs =/= family. You don't need to join a group of people who's lifeblood is committing crimes and hurting other people just to find people to care about you. It doesn't matter what someone's situation is, joining a gang is the absolute worst decision anybody could ever make for themselves.

You're welcome. :) I'd also like to quickly point out that it's VERY difficult to duplicate a design so flawlessly so many times on so many types of canvas--ie why many awesome artists could never do comics.

I'll admit, for the most part, I don't like graffiti. I live in New York City and I think most of the times it looks really ugly. However once and a while I do think it is cool but just not when it looks sloppy. In the first few minutes of watching this documentary I was skeptical of her. But now I see her as such a real person. She took a daring leap doing this commercially and has really flourished taking this direction. Her art may not be my favorite but I'd support her. She's a smart woman.
