I absolutely love this series! I loved how Jan got a great night with the dancer and Vanessa got what she deserved, no one. If you want to find a great guy then you need to be yourself and not blackmail your friend so you find someone. Please do more I want to see what happens to Jan.

I'm so loving the Jan series. I really liked how this particular episode led up to Jan letting her hair down literally and figuratively. I think at times she is way too hard on herself, and she's always trying to fix other people's problems but her own. This guy that's she's met is perfect for Jan he sees that Jan is hard on herself, and he wants her to be true and honest to herself. With this dance scene to me it made it quite obvious that this guy was not for Vanessa. She should acceptthat

Remember, the writing, direction, the lighting, camera angles, and characters are put forward in such a way that they, or their actions (or inactions) work to formulate these emotions inside you. Think about how brilliant it is that all these minute and massive factors come forth to tug, pull, and stear your emotions and opinions one way or another! Some people will say that they love Vanessa. Some say that she's the Devil incarnate. It's wonderful how wardrobe, lighting, shadow, etc. work here!

I've enjoyed most of the wigs mini-series before, but this one was especially fun. Good acting, intriguing little hints and suggestions of character, humorously awkward situations. And it ended strong. Good for Jan - you go girl!

Oh, sorry. I've watched Jan and Vanessa & Jan also. Jan's character is particularly so vulnerable, there is no suprise Malcolm wishes to sweep her off her feet!! Bravo!! Vanessa, likewise wears her heart on her sleeve, yet adorns herself so that all male eyes will be on her rather than Jan. So it's no suprise when her immediate desire connects not with her, but with her comprably "dowdy" friend, she is shattered. Beautiful performances, all!!

I feel for Vanessa with her feelings of insecurity, but Jan has been her mate- it's not fair to encourage her to hide herself just so she feels better (gets more attention from men). Of all the speed date set shorts, this series has been my fav. The guys amused me no end :)

I am loving WIGS and all the different stories. New ones can't come quick enough! This story and the personalities of Jan and Vanessa are intriguing. I can relate to Vanessa and how she tries so hard, is sweet and cute but she never quite gets what she craves the most despite her best efforts. When she has the chance to dance with Malcolm she declines I think because she feels that it is forced and she is to proud to accept charity. In doing so, again she doesn't get what she really needs!

This was probably the most satisfying "ending" of any of the series on Wigs so far. Jan was going out of her way to be a good friend to Vanessa; she was obviously attracted to Malcolm, but still "campaigned" for Vanessa. When Vanessa was given the opportunity to dance with Malcolm, even got the OK from Paco, she "choked". Jan gets "Shanghai'ed" onto dance floor, Magic ensues, Vanessa bolts - and Jan discards the "facade" and enjoys the moment as Jan. Good for Jan; Good for Malcolm; Good for Me.
