back in the 80's i kept my most of my weekly pocket money to buy a Barbie doll by the end of 2 to 3 months and hid my 'collection' above my room's ceiling panels. one of the dolls was this Crystal Barbie and it was my favorite. watching you materialized this look have really made my young self's Barbie fantasy came to life. thank you so much for the series. i watched this finale in tears. can't wait for your next Barbie recreation look series! love, from Malaysia.

I absolutely adored watching this series ! I’m a drag queen based in Ireland and just like yourself I create everything from scratch I do all my wigs , make my outfits and conceptualise each look . It’s so lovely to see other queens doing the same and not just buying everything made and done already . This whole look is absolutely gorgeous and you look incredibly stunning !!! I really love that too! The other day I was recommended one of Vanity’s old (like 13 years I think) videos, and it was more scripted and polished, but Vanity’s personality didn’t really shine through like it does now bc it was so formal. I think the more relaxed, unscripted vibe just really puts their natural charisma on display.

I found your channel through the "I Know We Said No More Barbies™" series, I am myself a Barbie collector from way back. So this is the first drag look series I've seen, and I think it's so cool that it was for Crystal Barbie. I remember when Crystal Barbie was new on store shelves, I remember buying the doll with my allowance money and loving everything about her. Your recreation of the look turned out great, I wouldn't change a thing. I especially loved how the fabrics caught the light outdoors, so it's a good thing your pup needed a potty break. I'm looking forward to more Barbie looks, so keep them coming. :) Also, major props for enduring the contact lenses. I could never wear contacts. I can barely deal with wearing ordinary mascara, contacts are right out.

Vanity! Thank you for this entire series. I just binged it all today. I love seeing your creative process and the fact that you leave in those moments when you doubt yourself and go back and forth about a decision and then tentatively push on with what you intuit to be the right choice. Those moments are so important to see for...well, everyone. We all have those moments and it's so helpful to see someone else going through it and believing in themselves enough to take risks even when it makes them nervous.
