I can't even get to this menu. My wii is doing this but with the loader and most other homebrews. I did this in what feels like the early days of wii hacking. I don't rememeber if the wii needs a sd card or if my external hard drive has it all.

I can’t even check if the files are named correctly since I can’t access the files on the hard drive since it’s formatted to WBFS, it’s crazy how USB loader gx just stop working out of nowhere for me and a friend for no particular reason, can’t find a fix at all.

@@derby3320 okay if usb loader gx itself stopped working try deleting/redownloading the app through homebrew apps. If you can still load up usb loader gx go into it and go to loader settings and make sure hdd is selected to boot up and if that doesn't do much go to your custom paths I have another video on that and lastly make sure your hdd is connected tk the port closest to the edge of the wii.

@@Skate4092 if you have the disc try reinstalling but if you don't have it anymore it are you using USB loader gx? Pop it in to the computer and check the game name and game code there's a certain way the folder needs to be laid out

i got wii sports and resort from vim but then i tried mario galaxy from a list and it looks exactly the same as the working games and shows up but just boots me to menu

Actually it turns out the games I downloaded are Canadian so I can’t use them. If anyone knows how to use them please let me know

Look up a program called Wii Game Manager and some vids on using it , use that to transfer games and use Gamecube manager to transfer Gamecube games.

@@ToyReviewwithSteffanCara make sure your file is saved on the hard drive starting from root of the SD card. Root>wbfs folder> mario kart wii [game code]>game code.wbfs

legit how mine exactly looks and it still does not load from menu, i have done very single cios install twice reinstalled the homebrew completely formatted usb to fat 32 twice now and reinstalled diff roms still doing what it was to you in the video and even now when i click the game on the start menu the cover is not there no more absolutely frying me been at it for 3 days now.😠

@@V3rsat1 when i had the covers before i started doing everything again to be able to fix, No. The games never once loaded either a black screen and wii freezes or the same thing as you in video above i have not installed the wrong 58 - 249 things either as i have watched multiple videos of everyone doing the same ones as i have ill check your other video to see if it helps at all, i also did the loader setting sin USB loader Gx still nothing killing me off slowly lol

@@EthanbloxBiggestFan lately the guys I've been helping have discovered that it's just a corrupt file. Try adding it and see if that fixes it of not try running it through wii back up manager

Thanks for redirecting me to this vid. I've checked and yeah all my files have the correct names. I think when I first loaded the four Wii titles I did download all their covers, but it was only Metal Slug that had a cover and with sound when you click into the title, and runs. The others like Tomb Raider, Spider-man 3, when you click into them, it's just black and no sound. And again, when click start it just throws me back to home. Tried messing with some settings but no luck.

How are the files laid out on your hdd is it the same where it's root > wbfs > tomb raider [game code] > gamecode.wbfs?

@@V3rsat1 YO, I know why and fixed it! It was because they're PAL so googled the correct PAL codes, and it worked! JUST for a SINGLE letter too!! Now, I guess I'll have to clean up the covers/banners folders.
