I don't think this is the maximum score achievable in the game because he shot the ducks at the same time with one bullet whereas if he had shot them separately he would have gotten a higher combo and I think a score of 908...?

No, the combo goes up by 2 when 2 targets are shot, even if they're shot at the same time with the same "bullet"
