Even if it had problems, the Wii is my favorite console. I never had any problems with the motion controls.

I'm 27. I got a DSI for my 12th birthday April 2009. For Christmas, I wanted a Wii but my family said I had to give up my DSI to come up with at least half the money. That was the rule. So I did and got a used Wii with Mario Sluggers, SSBB, and Strikers Charged. Only regret was not getting Twilight Princess. Eventually I got access to VC and the previous owner left their shop account opened. They had bought every Nintendo classic you could ever want. Ocarina, majora, Mario World, 64, RPG. You name it, They bought it. It was a jackpot. I thank my mom once in a while for buying it used. By 2012, I was 15 and moved on to PS3 for awhile but I'll always cherish the Wii in that regard. The Gamecube and Switch is unquestionably better and Switch pulled me back as an adult but the Wii was the peak of Nintendo charm that the next Switch desperately needs. The early 2000s were a time we'll never see again.

8:13 I played the demos for Bit.Trip Beat and Pokemon Rumble a ton just because they were free on the Wii shop, the latter of which was technically the first Pokemon game I ever played.

The best thing abour the Wii is that you can easily mod it to play tons of retro games.

Just imagine if they release a Nintendo Wii memorial edition. It should look just like the original launch white Wii which will include HDMI, it will come with every Wii game built in, well not every Wii title; only the most popular Wii games such as Wii sports and sports resort, Mario Zelda etc, all games remastered in 1080p. The Wii menu will look the same but it will be in 1080p as well. It will come with all of the original channels but remastered. Including the weather. It should have KZbin channel and Hulu etc just like Xbox and ps5. So basically just like how they rereleased the NES and SNES

@@enatefak it sure would be! I’m sure it will be as powerful as a ps5 and Xbox Series X. I will always forever love the Nintendo Wii because it was a big part of my childhood
