i miss the "nintendo vibe' in general, which the switch is entirely devoid of. My favourite consoles by far were the 3ds and the Wii, mostly due to the personality that the 2000-2010ns had. Something unique to nintendo consoles, that with the switch just disappeared into uniformality

As per your description, I much prefer more traditional 8 bit remixes. The limitation of the 4 main channels is a large contributor to the style of NES music, and that simplicity just seems to tickle my brain a certain way. Every choice is super deliberate and the sound is clean and clear, even with busier melodies/arrangements. Not having DPCM or limitless tracks really helps in that area. The guys programming this stuff back in the day were absolute geniuses and no one talks about them enough. That being said all of your work is sick and I love what you're doing

Is it just me, or does the shopping bag dude look like he's kind of sad, but trying to maintain a smile? I think it's the eyebrows, combined with the bottoms of the eyes not being drawn in fully. Hey, love the remix, but I Don't really like the bashing of TMNT, an NES game I think gets too much hate. I actually like that game, and it's honestly more unique than most other TMNT games. I think everyone took the AVGN's review of it too seriously, and even James and Mike stated they kinda regret creating so much hate for the game, and admitted they actually like it. They even made a counter video about it. Sure it's difficult but it's no less harder then most beloved NES games like Castlevania 3 or Megaman 1, which I felt were much harder, and had some pretty unfair moments in it. Shredder was way easier than Dracula or Wiley.
