Whats that substance you apply before soldering. And is it possible to remove the fuse without the heat gun. And is that black substance you apply necessary? Asking for a friend.

Flux is applied before soldering, the black substance? Im not sure what that is… and you can always just use jumper wire to connect the fuse points instead of removing it

How many SoC revision wii u has? The soc board on this video different than the last one.

i think there is a few since there was special edition etc, but all of them i have opened have these exact same faults and nintendo is known for having this continued fault trend even on switch and power circuit for example. hope this helps

Greetings friend, by chance, would you know or could you do a solution method for the WII U that get stuck in the WII U logo when starting the console, I have mine stuck on that screen, it's a black 32GB Japanese WII U, it worked fine and everything but When I wanted to install a main menu of a different style, it happened that my console did not start again and it stays loading forever in that logo screen, I tried the Voultar method with the Raspberry Pico Pi to recover it but it did not work for me, I have a backup of my NAND before the failure but I don't have a backup of the MLC (due to lack of space on my SD I couldn't backup that I thought I'd resume it after that backup) but as a failure I couldn't do it anymore I don't know what else to do or who else to turn to, first of all, Thanks. greetings from Chile I hope I have been understood since I am communicating through Google Translator

yes i understood but unfortunately its probably going to be stuck unless you can find a work around with the MLC. I wish i could help more sorry! likely that one is bricked now

I still don't quite understand which parts should make contact. In the video it is not possible to clearly distinguish where you place the tips of the multimeter.

Each fuse has 2 point on each side 4 total, they line up in the same direction as the trace lines underneath hope this helps

I have not done hard mod yet only softmod
